Wherever Tours was established in 2015 by two very passionate and leading travel professionals – Riccardo Filaci and David Shick.

Riccardo, born and raised in Italy by a Sicilian father and a Welsh mother, has been a worldwide travel professional for over 25 years spending most of his career as a tour director for several popular tour operators in Europe.  A lover of history, food and wine, he thrives on sharing his knowledge with everybody.  He enjoys having fun and is sure to make your trip an experience of a lifetime. Today, Riccardo is based in Sorrento, Italy where he maintains the Wherever Tours office.  However, he still participates in leading tours throughout the year.

David Shick is an Italian-American, free-spirited entrepreneur who has been involved in several diverse and successful ventures. He is an educated scientist, who owns a medical device manufacturing company.   He is also a highly skilled, organized, and knowledgeable travel professional who has been coordinating group tours for over 20 years.  He also has a passion for music, which inspired him to co-found and host one of the most successful summer concert series in New Jersey.  Along with Riccardo, David meticulously plans and helps execute every custom, featured, and signature tour.  He manages the Wherever Tours office in New Jersey.

Together, Riccardo and David have literally become “The Dream Team” who strive for perfection in every tour journey they create.  They understand the importance of creating trip itineraries that contain the right balance of sights, activities and leisure time.  Thousands of satisfied clients have travelled with Wherever Tours which has created an army of loyal followers who hesitate to travel with any other tour company.
